Upon delivery to Baldwin Chevrolet, the car was sent to Motion Performance for conversion into a SS-427 Phase III Supercar.Dressed in Cherry Red, the car’s paint and trim are in overall very good order while the bodywork is straight and solid. There is a white, rear spoiler, a chrome and fiberglass hood with a L88 hood scoop. The car’s engine bay is extremely tidy. The chrome bumpers fit tightly to the body. The front subframe and rear unibody frame have been joined with frame connectors to keep the car’s prodigious power under control.This F-body rolls on a mixture of radials, Vercelli in front, size 215/70R14 and Widetrack Radial S/Rs in back, size 275/60R15. Each one is mounted on SS Cragar alloy wheels. The tires and wheels are all in very good order. There are disc brakes up front and rear air shock absorbers.Under the hood is a transplanted 454 CID big-block V-8 engine with an upgraded camshaft, a Holley performance carburetor, an aluminum Moroso tall valve covers, a General Motors high-energy ignition distributor and performance headers that attach to a new, dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. There is also a high-torque performance starter and deep sump engine oil pan. Backing the engine is a four-speed manual transmission.The interior is in overall very good order. The front bucket seats and rear demi buckets are upholstered in black and red cloth. There is black carpeting and a matching headliner. The headliner is in satisfactory condition. There is a four-spoke steering wheel which frames the dash. The instrument panel and inner door liners are in very good order. There are aftermarket gauges mounted below the dash and a Hurst, floor-mounted shift lever.
