This is one of the more seldom-seen Mustangs we have had come through our doors, with its Copper Metallic exterior and Emberglo interior. Made at Ford’s Dearborn, Michigan factory on May 17, 1966.Dressed in Copper Metallic, the paint and trim are in overall very good shape but there are a few blemishes visible at close range. The chrome bumpers look good and fit tightly to the body and the engine bay is very tidy. In the trunk is a Rockville subwoofer. This pony rolls on white stripe, all-season radials, size 205/75R14, at every corner. Each one is mounted to a factory alloy wheel. The wheels and tires are all in very good order.Powering this Mustang is a 289 CID V-8 engine with a two-barrel carburetor and breathing via dual exhausts. Backing this motor is a C-4 three-speed automatic transmission with 2.80:1 gearing.Inside, is a two-tone Emberglo Pony interior. The front buckets and rear bench seats look great, as does the corresponding carpet. The three-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel looks great. The two-tone Emberglo treatment continues on the inner door panels and dashboard, complete with wooden appliqués for added warmth. A floor-mounted shifter and an AM/FM stereo complete the interior.
