Three model years in, the biggest feature on Chevrolet’s Corvette for 1965 was four-wheel disc brakes.Dressed in Milano Maroon , the car’s paint and trim are in overall excellent order. The bodywork is straight and solid, the chrome bumpers fit tightly to the body, the engine bay is very tidy and the cargo area behind the bucket seats is in very good order. Shod in BFGoodrich Silvertown yellow line radials, size 205/75R15 at all four corners, each tire is mounted to a factory alloy wheel with center spinners. The tires and wheels are all in very good order. Under that forward-hinged hood is a 327 CID Turbo-Fire V-8 engine, reportedly with matching numbers, and breathing via dual exhausts. Backing this motor is a Turbo Hydramatic 350 three-speed automatic transmission. Driver convenience features include air-conditioning, power steering, power windows and a power antenna.Inside, the car’s Saddle Leather interior is in overall great condition, including the low-back bucket seats, matching carpet and headliner. The three-spoke steering wheel has a teak wood rim. The inner door panels and “dual cockpit” dashboard look great. The center console, shift lever and a custom AM/FM stereo with cassette deck complete the interior.
